We are delighted to resume our Christmas Bazaar this year which will take place on Saturday 4th December starting at 14:30 at The Protestant Temple, 283 Rue Frédéric Sévène, 33400 TALENCE (map)

The Bazaar is our major annual activity to raise funds to support the running of our Chaplaincy of Aquitaine and to support our charities. The Bazaar is always a very social gathering enjoyed by all.

Christmas Bazaar ‘Goodies’

There is something for everyone to buy and we encourage everyone, if possible, to please bring a contribution, however small, for the raffle or the stalls listed below. (Bric-a-brac is welcome but please only bring quality Bric-a-brac!)

The stalls include: Christmas Goodies, Wine, Books, Cakes, Jams and Home produce, Raffle, Silent Auction, Teas, Kids Corner, Guess the Artist, Plants, Quality Bric-a-Brac and …… enjoy a cup of tea/coffee and cake with friends.

Our Bazaar is a not a church service event. Unless there is a change in the Covid restrictions, please come with your Covid vaccination certificate either in paper form or stored in the TousAntiCovid app on your phone. If you have yet to be vaccinated, please bring a negative Covid test taken on or after Thursday 2nd December.

One of the most popular stalls in our Christmas Bazaar is the Silent Promises where ‘promises’ are donated, anonymous bids are placed and the highest bid wins.

In 2020 like many aspects of our life in these difficult times, we went virtual and this year it will again be possible for friends of the Bordeaux Anglican Church to place bids online. Alternatively bid in person on the day at the Bazaar.

We already have generous promises ranging from ironing, gardening, Weekends away, DIY help, IT help, an acrylic painting tutorial, Visit to the Pomerol wine region and more!
