Travel Guide to our church in Bordeaux-Talence
Bus – Number 5 or 23
The best option if travelling by bus to our church is the number 5 bus. The alternative is the number 25 bus but it has a longer journey time.
If you are not familiar with the Bordeaux bus system, the destination of the bus is shown on a panel at the front of the bus. The buses only stop on demand and you get onto the bus via the front door.
Number 5 bus
The number 5 bus travels through the centre of Bordeaux. On Sundays there is a bus every 10 – 15 minutes.
When travelling from central Bordeaux use the No. 5 bus either in the direction VILLENAVE Courréjean. When travelling from Bordeaux press one of the red stop/Arrêt buttons near your seat immediately after the bus stop Taffanal to indicate that you want to get off at the next stop which is Bagatelle .
When travelling towards Bordeaux Centre use the No. 5 bus in the direction BORDEAUX Bassins à Flot. When travelling towards Bordeaux then press the red stop/Arrêt buttons after Croix de Leysotte to indicate that you want to get off at the next stop which is Bagatelle
There are displays inside the bus showing the next stop (prochain arrêt).
When the bus stops at Bagatelle press the ‘door open’ button which illuminates once the bus is stationary, It is then a short walk to the church ( walking directions to the church ).
Number 23 bus
When travelling from central Bordeaux use the number 23 bus in the direction Begles Rives d’Arcins. Press a red stop/Arrêt buttons near your seat immediately after the bus stop Taffanal to indicate that you want to get off at the next stop which is Bontemps.
When travelling towards Bordeaux Centre use the number 23 bus in the direction Le Bouscat Hippodrome. Press a red stop/Arrêt buttons after Croix de Leysotte to indicate that you want to get off at the next stop which is Bontemps

There is no car parking available in the church grounds but there are parking places reserved for those with reduced mobility otherwise please park in the adjoining streets which are very quiet on Sundays.

From central Bordeaux travel via tram:
Line B
and get off the tram at:
Tram stop Forum in Cours de la Liberation ( directions )
Tram Ligne B runs from the north-east of Bordeaux starting at Berges de la Garonne and terminates at Pessac (and vice-versa).
On Sundays, a tram arrives at Forum every 7 minutes.
Our church is at 283 Rue Frédéric Sévène, 33400 TALENCE and is approximately a 20 minute walk from the tram stop at Forum ( directions ).
