COVID-19

Dear Friends,

I am hugely grateful to those of you who have already taken steps to make regular or one-off donations to the Chaplaincy over the last couple of months. As the country slowly moves out of lockdown we are faced with a whole new set of challenges. It is likely to be a considerable time yet before we can hope that our financial situation will return to a more normal pattern and so we are still deeply reliant on your generosity and giving as part of your discipleship.

We will, therefore, continue to be particularly grateful if you feel able to make donations (one-off or regular) that might compensate for the loss of ‘plate giving’ and fund-raising events. This can be done through your bank by prélèvement (standing order) or by  our our online giving page.

I long for a time when we will be able to meet again, but in the meantime we will continue to provide opportunities for various forms of worship, study, prayer and pastoral support online.

Thank you for your commitment to the life of this wonderful Chaplaincy.

Blessings,

Tony

HOW TO FIND US

Our Services unless otherwise noted are held at the Chapel of Le Bon Pasteur in rue de L’Ecole Normale.

The entrance for cars and pedestrians is opposite 10 rue de L’Ecole Normale 33200 BORDEAUX  ( Map )

We are guests of the Communauté du Grand Bon Pasteur. The grounds also contain a school and a retirement home and we must all abide by the strict hygiene rules which are given to us.

Cats and dogs are strictly not allowed through the entrance gates into the grounds either on foot or in their chauffeur driven car !

If you plan to arrive with your cat or doggy friend then please park in a neighbouring street.

Thank you.

Pedestrians

Enter through the double gates which are 50 metres on your right when walking along rue de L’Ecole Normale in the direction away from Boulevard President Wilson. Please click here for a map

By Bus

The nearest bus stop is Pasteur which is a 150 metre walk from the church.

Bus stop Pasteur is on Line 9 which is the route from Gare St Jean to Brandenburg and vice versa. A bus arrives at Pasteur every 20 minutes on Sunday afternoons.
